Program Design, Mentoring, Facilitation
We
have worked with Pamela as an Executive Consultant, Coach
and Trainer over a period of 6 years. Pamela has mentored
and coached members of our Executive and Management Team and
has extended our consultants through exposure to a number
of Tools available through Pentangle.
When
we have required Educational Resources for Executive Management
and Senior Management in the areas of Managing Change and
Problem Solving, Managing Empowered Workplace Teams and Strategic
Financial Management, Pamela has designed and developed programs
around the national competency standards to Diploma and Advanced
Diploma levels. These programs have been delivered to International
and National client groups and have been very well received.

Market
Research Surveys
Pamela has worked with Digislide in
designing market research surveys and psychographics for a
number of our products.
The
largest market research program we undertook included over
500 respondents, aged from 14 – 35 years, over a 2 week
period. It was imperative that our research findings were
accurate and comprehensive, as we were designing a new video
projector aimed at previously ignored markets – gamers
and family entertainment. We were about to spend $2m on Research
and Development, so it was imperative that we were heading
in the right direction – and we were designing a product
that was so different from anything the projection market
had ever seen it was vital we had the market feel right. Pamela
designed the research questionnaire, which was later described
by the Global Products Manager of Eastman Kodak, NY, as “the
most comprehensive and penetrating Voice of the Consumer Market
Research I have ever seen”.
Since
that time, Pamela has assisted us with the design of Focus
Group surveys and this and Pamela’s previous work has
led to Ivan de Favari of the Centre for Innovation Business
and Manufacturing in SA saying “No-one has done the
depth of market research that Digislide has done towards the
production of the MantaRay – now you just have to get
out there and do it.” MantaRay was released to market
in September 2003 and the market place reaction from gamers
and lower end income families has been fantastic. Pamela’s
research skills enabled us to identify and target Primary,
Secondary and Tertiary demographics and design a product that
would meet the needs of each group.
