Executive Officer– Pamela Wakefield-Semmens

Pamela
is a dedicated, challenging and caring professional
in helping people reach their full potential through self-awareness
and self-development. She leads the research, design, coaching,
and facilitator teams at Pentangle and provides a quality overview
to all delivery and content. Pamela also leads the psychological
services and assessment team.
Pamela
practices work-life balance in
her cherished roles as a mother, wife, friend, daughter, sister
and neighbor. Her greatest inspiration comes from two people:
her mother who taught her the value of education and enjoying
the discovery of what we can become; and, her daughter Natalie
who is blind and has cerebral palsy – who has taught her
the value of simply being, loving without condition, acceptance
and appreciation. Pamela’s greatest moments of joy come
from time spent with her daughters: Vanessa, Rebecca and Belinda;
and with her son Bradley.
Pamela
has worked in Leadership, Management and Executive Advisory roles.
She has designed, developed and delivered highly effective Executive,
Management and Team Development programs. Pamela has studied entrepreneurial
leadership, business and financial management, communication,
mentoring, coaching and counseling, business planning, organisation
dynamics, work design, team and organisational development, organisational
role analysis, psychology, and organisation change management
and . Pamela has worked in clinical and counseling practices as
a psychologist, relationship counselor, and therapist .
Pamela
is a Psychologist, Certified Practicing
Accountant, Master Facilitator, Coach and Management Consultant.
Her qualifications include the following:
Master
of Psychology (Counseling); Master
of Business (Leadership and Organisational Psychodynamics); Bachelor
of Arts (Language and Literature); Bachelor of Business (Accountancy
and Law); Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Development); Graduate
Diploma of Arts (Social Science); Graduate Diploma of Counseling
Psychology; Graduate Certificate of Management Psychology; EMDR
and Acceptance Commitment Therapist; *HeartMath 1-on-1 Coach;
Certificate IV Workplace Assessor and Trainer; Master NLP Practitioner
and Master Facilitator; Currently studying a PhD in Coaching Psychology.
Pamela
is a full member of the Australian Psychologists Society (APS),
A Founder
and Executive Member of the Australian Psychologists Society Interest
Group for Coaching Psychology and a Committee Member of the Australasian
Institute of Professional Coaches Incorporated. She is also a
founding member of the Victorian Chapter of the International
Coaching Federation, an Associate Fellow of the Australian Human
Resources Institute, and a member of the Australian Institute
for Training and Development, a member of the Australian Institute
for Management, and a member of the Australian Society of Certified
Practicing Accountants. Pamela is also an Executive Director and
senior consultant for Crossroads Pty Ltd, a HR consulting company,
and is a Director of Creative Breakthroughs Pty Ltd, a business
planning consultancy and distributor for a variety of business
